Kaley Cuoco is set to take the lead in upcoming mystery thriller series \u201cVanished,\u201d announced during Series Mania in Lille, where AGC will launch sales.<\/strong><\/p>\nSam Claflin (\u201cPeaky Blinders,\u201d \u201cMe Before You\u201d), three-time Cesar winner Karin Viard (\u201cPolisse,\u201d \u201cThe B\u00e9lier Family\u201d) and Matthias Schweigh\u00f6fer (\u201cOppenheimer,\u201d \u201cArmy of the Dead\u201d) will also star in the series to be direct by Barnaby Thompson (\u201cPixie,\u201d \u201cMad About the Boy \u2014 The Noel Coward Story\u201d).<\/p>\n
\u201cVanished\u201d follows a romantic getaway to Paris that take a dark turn. When her boyfriend Tom (Claflin) suddenly disappears aboard a train to the south of France, Alice (Cuoco) is plunged into a web of intrigue and danger, uncovering shocking secrets about the man she thought she knew.<\/p>\n
The series was created by David Hilton and Preston Thompson, written by Preston Thompson (\u201cPixie,\u201d \u201cKids in Love\u201d) and executive produced by James Clayton (Slow Burn Entertainment), David Kosse (Rockwood Pictures), Barnaby Thompson (Fragile Films), Preston Thompson and AGC\u2019s Stuart Ford, Lourdes Diaz and Miguel A. Palos Jr. AGC Television \u2014 the scripted arm of Ford\u2019s AGC Studios \u2014 will fully-finance and co-produce, and has a co-production deal with Germany\u2019s ARD Degeto already at an advanced stage.<\/p>\n
Production will begin April 28th on locations in Paris and Marseilles. John Bernard, CEO of Peninsula Film will provide production services in France.<\/p>\n
