De hartelijke welkom van Alyssa Milano is haar altijd bijgebleven. That\u2019s the situation Kaley Cuoco found herself in the fall of 2005, when she stepped onto the set of The WB\u2019s hit series, Charmed, to join regulars Alyssa Milano, Rose McGowan and Holly Marie Combs for their eighth and final year. \u201cI was very nervous,\u201d the actress confesses to Yahoo Entertainment now. \u201cI came into that in their final year, which is really hard to do. The girls are really set in their ways, and I was the new girl.\u201d (Watch our video interview above.)<\/p>\n<p>Cuoco\u2019s Charmed gig came along mere months after the series finale of her ABC sitcom, 8 Simple Rules, where she co-starred opposite John Ritter up until his death in 2003. As novice witch, Billie Jenkins, the actress was intended to be something of a younger sibling for the magically inclined Halliwell sisters, played by Milano, McGowan and Combs. At the time, the actress was in her early 20s, and still learning the ropes of show business. \u201cI didn\u2019t have a glam squad back then,\u201d she remembers.<\/p>\n<p>She was keenly aware of her glam squad\u2019s absence on her first day on Charmed, which started off with a photo shoot featuring her and her new co-stars. \u201cI walked onto the stage where they were shooting Alyssa and Rose,\u201d she recalls. \u201cAlyssa came running up to me, gave me this huge hug and said, \u2018Welcome to our show.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Milano\u2019s gesture of kindness instantly made Cuoco feel at home, and set an example that she\u2019s tried to live by ever since. \u201cThat was so important&#8230; she knew what that meant to me,\u201d she says, visibly touched at the memory. \u201cShe may not even remember that moment, but I remember that forever.\u201d After Charmed ended in 2006, Cuoco landed a career-transforming role on The Big Bang Theory, and is currently starring on the hit R-rated animated series Harley Quinn and preparing to launch the HBO Max limited series The Flight Attendant.<\/p>\n<p>And in all of these projects, she\u2019s made a point of being the person who helps the new kid on set adjust to their surroundings. \u201cI know what it\u2019s like when someone new comes on,\u201d she says. \u201cThere\u2019s people like [Alyssa] who really do mold your career and mold your path.
