{"id":6861,"date":"2020-02-04T22:22:28","date_gmt":"2020-02-04T22:22:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.charmed-online.nl\/?p=6861"},"modified":"2020-02-04T22:22:28","modified_gmt":"2020-02-04T22:22:28","slug":"julian-mcmahon-says-hed-do-a-charmed-reunion-movie-in-a-heartbeat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.charmed-online.nl\/?p=6861","title":{"rendered":"Julian McMahon Says He\u2019d Do a \u2018Charmed\u2019 Reunion Movie \u2018in a Heartbeat\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>Good news, \u201cCharmed\u201d fans: If the cast were to do a reunion movie at Netflix \u2014 something Alyssa Milano recently said she\u2019s been talking about with former co-star Holly Marie Combs \u2014 Julian McMahon \u201cwould love\u201d to reprise his role as Cole Turner\/Balthazar.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, if they brought in the character Balthazar, I don\u2019t think you\u2019d want anybody else to play him, that\u2019s for sure,\u201d the \u201cFBI: Most Wanted\u201d star told TheWrap, following a panel for the new CBS series during the Television Critics Association press tour Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, I would love to,\u201d he continued. \u201cI had such a great time on that show. I mean, I came on that show, I think it was six episodes I was meant to be on the show and I stayed for three years. So that\u2019s how much I enjoyed it. So yeah, for sure. And I think it was the 150th episode I went back for? Oh, I\u2019d do that in a heartbeat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Talk of a \u201cCharmed\u201d Netflix movie began back in October, when Milano brought up the potential project during an interview with Access Daily.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI mean, Holly and I talk about \u2018Charmed\u2019 movies a lot, you know. Because they have the new \u2018Charmed,\u2019 which is on The CW, and it\u2019s a very different storyline\u2026\u201d Milano said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut we have been talking about maybe doing some films for Netflix,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd so I think that would be really fun, and I think it\u2019s a great way to celebrate our fans that have stuck with us for such a long time but still give it new blood.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Representatives for CBS TV Studios, which has the rights to the show, and Netflix did not respond to TheWrap\u2019s request for comment at the time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCharmed\u201d ran for eight seasons from 1998-2006 on The WB and later on The CW. Milano and Combs starred on the magical drama as sisters Phoebe and Piper Halliwell, respectively, with Shannen Doherty playing their eldest sister, Prue, on Seasons 1-3.
