Jimmy Tatro and Scott Porter have been cast in an upcoming episode of the first season of the CW\u2019s \u201cCharmed,\u201d Variety has learned exclusively.<\/p>\n
Tatro, who is best known for \u201cAmerican Vandal\u201d and a recent stint on the second season of \u201cThe Guest Book,\u201d will guest star as a \u201cbad boy\u201d angel named Gideon, while Porter (\u201cFriday Night Lights,\u201d \u201cThe Good Wife,\u201d \u201cHart of Dixie\u201d) will guest star as \u201cgood guy\u201d angel Levi.<\/p>\n
Gideon and Levi are a brother duo from a show within the show \u2014 a 1990s TV drama called \u201cHeaven\u2019s Vice\u201d \u2014 on which they are tasked with saving mankind from the devil and his minions. Through a \u201cmagical mix-up,\u201d they cross over into the real world and arrive in Hilltown via a portal, understandably confused and \u201cquite the handful\u201d for the sisters.<\/p>\n
This episode is set to air in the spring, towards the end of the show\u2019s first season.<\/p>\n
\u201cCharmed,\u201d which was created by Jessica O\u2019Toole, Amy Rardin and Jennie Snyder Urman, stars Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery, Madeleine Mantock, Ser\u2019Darius Blain, Ellen Tamaki, Nick Hargrove, and Rupert Evans. O\u2019Toole, Rardin, Urman, Ben Silverman, Brad Silberling, Howard Owens, and Carter Covington serve as executive producers.<\/p>\n
