Ellen zal de rol van Nico spelen, een detective die een romantische relatie heeft met \u00e9\u00e9n van de zussen wat haar onderzoeken bemoeilijkt.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"446\" height=\"229\" style=\"float:left\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charmed-online.nl\/nieuws\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/charlie-gillespie-ellen-tamaki.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>Charlie Gillespie (One Day She\u2019ll Darken) and newcomer Ellen Tamaki are set as series regulars opposite Sarah Jeffery, Madeleine Mantock, Melonie Diaz and Ser\u2019Darius Blain in the CW\u2019s dramedy pilot Charmed, from Jane the Virgin creator-showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman and CBS TV Studios.<\/p>\n<p>Penned by Jessica O\u2019Toole and Amy Rardin and created with Urman, the Charmed reboot revolves around three sisters in a college town who discover they are witches. Between vanquishing supernatural demons, tearing down the patriarchy and maintaining familial bonds, a witch\u2019s work is never done.<\/p>\n<p>Gillespie will play Brian, Madison\u2019s (Jeffery) high school boyfriend who still carries a torch for her. Tamaki will portray Nico, a detective on the Hilltowne police force whose romantic relationship with one of the sisters complicates her investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Gillespie next will be seen in the feature Speed Kills opposite John Travolta for director John Lussenhop. He also recently wrapped the Patty Jenkins-directed TNT miniseries One Day She\u2019ll Darken, opposite Chris Pine.
