Julian McMahon, 49, thought about retiring from the entertainment industry when he landed a role in all-star Aussie film Swinging Safari<\/p>\n<p>He has starred in some of Hollywood&#8217;s major blockbusters including the Fantastic Four franchise and Premonition.<\/p>\n<p>But Julian McMahon said he was almost ready to call it a day after a good many years of starring in smaller TV series.<\/p>\n<p>It wasn&#8217;t until the 49-year-old landed a role in Australian film Swinging Safari earlier this year that he was catapulted straight back into the spotlight alongside Kylie Minogue, Guy Pearce and Asher Keddie.<\/p>\n<p>I was tampering with that whole thing of if I wanted to be in this business to a certain extent,&#8217; he told The Daily Telegraph. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>He was ready to QUIT!
