There is perhaps nothing more frightening to a 1980s sitcom father than the thought of his little girl growing into a woman. It makes sense, then, that one of the most memorable episodes of Who\u2019s the Boss? involved single dad Tony (played by Tony Danza) going brassiere shopping for his daughter, Samantha (Alyssa Milano).<\/p>\n
During EW\u2019s recent Who\u2019s the Boss? reunion, the cast members recalled the infamous season 1 episode, titled \u201cSamantha\u2019s Growing Up.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThis was at a time that we could only say \u2018bra\u2019 once,\u201d Milano said. \u201cWe could only say it once, and then we had to come up with different things.\u201d<\/p>\n

Judith Light, who played Tony\u2019s employer Angela, chimed in, \u201cThey came up with the best thing ever, which was incredibly funny. He kept saying, \u2018I have to buy her a foundation garment.\u2019 And it was hilarious!\u201d<\/p>\n
Hilariousness aside, going through adolescence on screen was occasionally awkward for Milano.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019d walk down the street and get recognized,\u201d she recalled. \u201cPeople would be like, \u2018That bra episode! You\u2019re getting older, you\u2019re growing up!\u2019 It was so mortifying.\u201d<\/p>\n
