Julian is gecast in de spin-off van de CBS serie ‘FBI’. In de nieuwe serie die ‘FBI: Most Wanted’ zal de hoofdrol gaan spelen, zijn personage Jess LaCroix zal het hoofd zijn van de afdeling die Amerika’s meest gezochte criminelen probeert te vinden. In de lente zal er een zogenoemde back-door Pilot te zien zijn in het huidige seizoen van ‘FBI’!

Julian McMahon has been cast in the lead role of the planned “FBI” spinoff currently in the works at CBS, Variety has confirmed.

The new series would be titled “FBI: Most Wanted.” It would follow the division of the FBI tasked with tracking and capturing the notorious criminals on the FBI’s Most Wanted list. It will air as a planted spinoff episode, or backdoor pilot, of “FBI” that will be broadcast in spring 2019. The project has received a series commitment from the network.

McMahon will play Jess LaCroix, described as an “agent’s agent” who is at the top of his game, and oversees the team from the FBI’s Most Wanted Unit, which is assigned the most extreme and egregious cases.

McMahon recently starred in the Marvel-Hulu series “Runaways” and is known for his time as one of the two leads on the FX drama “Nip/Tuck.” His other television roles include “Charmed,” “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency,” and “Profiler.” He also starred in the 2005 “Fantastic Four” film and its sequel “Rise of the Silver Surfer.”

He is repped by ICM, MGMT Entertainment, and Bloom Hergott Diemer.

“Most Wanted” will be written and executive produced by Dick Wolf and Rene Balcer. Balcer has served as a consulting producer on “FBI” and has previously collaborated with Wolf on multiple iterations of the “Law & Order” franchise. “FBI” executive producers Arthur W. Forney and Peter Jankowski will also executive produce “Most Wanted” with Fred Berner directing the initial episode. Berner has previously produced and directed for several “Law & Order” shows as well as the “Chicago” shows. Like “FBI,” Wolf Films and Universal Television will produce in association with CBS Television Studios

De cast van hitserie The Big Bang Theory wil de allerlaatste draaidagen niet vergeten. Om deze reden verraste de crew het studiopubliek tijdens een opname met een flashmob. Kaley Cuoco, die een van de hoofdrollen speelt, deelde een fragment hiervan op Instagram.

Volgens de actrice hebben ze maanden geoefend op het dansje, op het nummer Larger Than Life van de Backstreet Boys, dat eruit moet zien alsof het spontaan was ontstaan. Cuoco bedankt dan ook iedereen die eraan heeft meegewerkt en ’die naar mijn constante geklets erover heeft geluisterd’. „Het was het waard.” Flashmobs zijn een kleine traditie voor de cast. Eerder werd er al gedanst op Uptown Funk van Bruno Mars en Call Me Maybe van Carly Rae Jepsen.

The Big Bang Theory zwaait in mei af na twaalf seizoenen. De serie wordt sinds 2007 uitgezonden en is in Nederland te zien op Veronica.

Brain Krause, Drew Fuller en Holly Marie Combs zullen aanwezig zijn op de Wizard World Cleveland dat van 8-10 maart gehouden wordt in Cleveland.

Shannen heeft haar vezekering aangeklaagd voor het niet juist afhandelen van de schade aan haar huis na de bosbranden in Californië vorig jaar. In de aanklacht laat ze weten momenteel nog niet in haar huis te kunnen wonen door de brand en rookschade omdat dit gezien haar gezondheid niet kan. Ze vraagt hiervoor zo’n $1.4 miljoen van haar verzekering om haar huis op te knappen en ter compensatie van geleden schade.

Former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star Shannen Doherty is suing her insurance company State Farm for not providing adequate support when her house was damaged in the California wildfires.

In court documents obtained by The Blast, Doherty claims that the insurance company “took advantage” of her situation and refused to arrange proper coverage after her property in Malibu suffered severe smoke damage in the Woolsey Fire.

“When something doesn’t ‘go right,’ State Farm will fight its insureds tooth and nail to avoid having to pay out under the policy,” the actress says. “Instead, State Farm will take advantage of the vulnerability and distress of its policy holders when they find themselves in the very situations they paid thousands of dollars in premiums to insure against.”

Doherty, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, says the whole situation has been “incredibly distressing,” as she is still recovering from “invasive cancer treatment, including chemo and radiation therapy.”

In the documents, the “Charmed” star explains how she is still unable to move back into the property because her health condition forbids her from being exposed to smoke or smoke damaged property.

However, she claims that State Farm only offered two weeks of coverage for temporary residence.

Doherty is demanding compensation for all losses covered under her insurance policy, and damages for what she alleges is a wrongful denial of benefits, which she says are worth “at least $1.4 million.”

State Farm has not commented publicly on the situation.

Shannen komt op 23-24 maart naar Utrecht voor de Dutch Commic-Con

Shannen Doherty komt langs bij de Heroes Dutch Comic Con in Utrecht. De Charmed-actrice is tijdens beide dagen op het evenement in de Jaarbeurs aanwezig om fans te ontmoeten en handtekeningen uit de delen, maakte de organisatie dinsdag bekend.

Doherty werd begin jaren negentig bij het grote publiek bekend door haar rol in de tv-serie Beverly Hills, 90210. De 47-jarige actrice speelde van 1998 tot 2000 de rol van heks Prue Halliwell in Charmed. Verder was ze te zien in films als Mallrats en Almost Dead.

De voorjaarseditie van de Heroes Dutch Comic Con, een evenement voor fans van strips, fantasy en games, vindt plaats op 23 en 24 maart.

Eerder werd al bekend dat Once Upon a Time-actrice Jennifer Morrison naar Utrecht afreist.

Kaley heeft laten weten via haar instagram dat Warners Brother heeft besloten om Stage 25 waar de opnames van de serie plaatsvinden vernoemd wordt naar de ‘The Big Bang Theory’. In de afgelopen 90 jaar is dit maar bij 5 serie gebeurt die er opgenomen in de studio van Warners Brothers.

Er zouden samen met zender CBS gesprekken aan de gang zijn voor een reboot van de populaire serie ‘Beverly Hills 90210’. Enkele castleden werden afgelopen week samen gespot, en zouden in gesprek zijn over ideeën om de serie te rebooten. Shannen was hier niet bij en het is niet duidelijk of de reboot er of ze hieraan zou willen meewerken. Bronnen zouden hebben laten weten dat de originele cast niet in hun eigen rollen te zien zal zijn.

In navolging van een rits populaire series uit de laatste decennia van de vorige eeuw die opnieuw zijn uitgebracht, hebben nu ook de vroegere castleden van de serie Beverly Hills 90210 de koppen bij elkaar gestoken om een eventuele terugkeer te bespreken. Dit meldt TMZ.

Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Jason Priestley, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green en Gabrielle Carteris zouden meedoen aan de serie, die momenteel gepitcht wordt bij een aantal televisiezenders. Een aantal van hen werd samen met de schrijvers gezien in Los Angeles nadat ze een kop koffie met elkaar gedronken hadden.

Of Shannen Doherty en Luke Perry ook weer van de partij zijn is niet bekend.
