Shannen was eind juni te gast bij The Today Show. Hieronder het interview.
Volgens de nieuwste berichten heeft de Amerikaanse zender CBS haar plannen voor een reboot van de serie ‘Charmed’ gecanceld, vorig jaar oktober brak het nieuws dat de zender plannen had voor de reboot. Alhoewel er nog geen concrete plannen bekend waren, zou de originele cast er niet bij betrokken zijn. Alyssa en Rose zouden zelf hebben laten weten niets te willen weten van de reboot en Holly wensde de zender succes met hun plannen.
Fans waren gemengd over het nieuws, waarbij toch wel het overgrote deel er niet voor openstond en liever een ‘Charmed’ film ziet met de originele cast. Ik zelf vind het wel jammer dat de plannen gecanceld zijn voordat bekend is gemaakt hoe de zender de reboot voor ogen had. Je kan namelijk pas oordelen als je meer weet, nu maar hopen op een ‘Charmed’ film.
Kaley was op 23 juni samen met haar man op het launch event voor de Wheels for Seals Benefiting The Humane Society Of The United States dat ze hoste!

Hemlock Grove star Landon Liboiron, Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco and Cody Horn are starring in Burning Bodhi, which will be directed by Matthew McDuffie, who also wrote the indie drama.
Virginia Madsen and Sasha Pieterse also will appear in the movie, which begins shooting in Albuquerque this week.
The script centers on a young man (Liboiron) in his 20s who learns that Bodhi, one of his best friends from high school, has died suddenly of an aneurysm. He heads back to his hometown in New Mexico and finds that in addition to dealing with Bodhi’s death, he has to iron out his many issues with friends and family, both past and present.
Marshall Bear, Mary Vernieu and Michael Lazo are producing.
In addition to his role in Hemlock Grove, Liboiron was one of the stars of Terra Nova and Canadian TV sensation Degrassi: The Next Generation. He is repped by WME, Principato-Young Entertainment.
For the past seven seasons, Cuoco has starred in TV’s long-running hit The Big Bang Theory; she also is in the Screen Gems comedy The Wedding Ringer, with Kevin Hart and Josh Gad, to be released Jan. 16, 2015. She is repped by Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Hansen Jacobson.
Horn’s credits include End of Watch and Magic Mike. She will be shooting the Magic Mike sequel this fall. Horn is repped by Paradigm and Untitled Entertainment.

Het achtste seizoen van The Big Bang Theory gaat officieel door. De hoofdrolspelers krijgen hun zin en ontvangen 1 miljoen dollar per aflevering. Bazinga!
Hoofdrolspelers van The Big Bang Theory waren het niet eens met hun huidige salaris en vonden het tijd voor een opslag. Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco en Johnny Galecki vroegen om een schamele 1 miljoen dollar per aflevering. Volgens Deadline is het ze gelukt.
De staking heeft zijn vruchten afgeworpen. De hoofdrolspelers hebben een 3-jarig contract bij Warner Bros getekend. Dit wil zeggen dat de sterren in 2017 ongeveer 90 miljoen dollar per persoon hebben verdiend. Niet slecht voor een beetje acteerwerk.
The Big Bang Theory is de populairste tv-serie in de Verenigde Staten.
Shannen heeft via twitter laten weten dat de opnames van haar nieuwe zreality-serie ‘Of the Map with Holly & Shannen’ met Holly zijn begonnen. Zo waren in Kentucky bij een tomatengevecht!

Volgens geruchten zou Shannen nieuwe welkom zijn op de set van haar voormalig 90210 co-sterren Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling’s nieuwe serie ‘Mystery Girls’. Dit klopt niet en het tweetal zou het geweldig vinden als Shannen als gastrol te zien zou zijn in de serie.

Rumor has it that Shannen Doherty is persona non grata on the set of Mystery Girls, Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling’s new ABC Family sitcom. But perhaps the real mystery is who started the rumor.
In response to a report that Doherty has been “banned” from the set, the network tells E! News, “There is absolutely no truth to that rumor. We are certainly open to having her on.”
And any Beverly Hills, 90210 fan worth his or her salt would just love that!While the issues between Doherty and some of her cast mates are the stuff of 90s-TV legend, they do seem to be water under the bridge now—despite Garth unearthing them in her recent memoir, Deep Thoughts From a Hollywood Blonde.
“It was more of just young girls finding their way and finding their individual voices,” the erstwhile Kelly Taylor told E! News in March. “Shannen and I are both Aries women, we’re both very strong, independent women, so we butt heads a lot. Now, as grown women, we happen to get along as well.”
Sure enough, while out promoting Mystery Girls, she and Spelling were asked who they’d like to have guest star, and they named their former costar! “We’d like to have Shannen,” Garth said on Sirius XM’s Just Jenny just a few weeks ago, and Spelling added, “The original threesome. Me, Jen and Shannen, so that’s how it should be on this show.”
Holly en Shannen zullen in 2015 samen te zien zijn in een nieuwe reality-serie ‘Of the Map with Holly & Shannen’. In de 6 aflevering kunnen we hen volgens tijdens een roadtrip door enkele Amerikaanse staten! Ik kan niet wachten…. Shannnen was al eerdere te zien in een reality serie, tijdens de voorbereidingen van haar huwelijk met Kurt Iswarienko in 2012.
Shannen Doherty and Holly Marie Combs are going on a road trip and you’re all invited. The Charmed stars reuniting for Off the Map with Shannen & Holly, a new Great American Country reality series.
The six-episode series follows Doherty and Combs on a road trip through Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida.“I always wanted to do something in the travel space and really explore America and all its diversity and beauty. To do that with my best friend just makes it that more special,” Doherty said in a statement.
The series will follow the two Charmed ones as they “travel unknown roads” and “meet locals” while tackling “exciting adventures” with help from viewers. Starting Friday, July 25, viewers can vote on which activities Doherty and Combs do at each destination on GACTV.com. The road trip will also be chronicled on Twitter with the hashtag #ShannenandHolly.
“To travel America and see everything it has to offer, with my best friend, sounds like the perfect road trip,” Combs said in a statement.
Doherty and Combs both appeared in The WB series Charmed as witch sisters opposite Alyssa Milano. Combs currently appears on ABC Family’s Pretty little Liars.
Off the Map with Shannen & Holly is slated to premiere in 2015.
