Acteur Eric Balfour bekend van de serie ‘Haven’ heeft een terugkerende rol gescoord in ‘Charmed’. Hij zal de rol van Julian gaan vertolken, een tech-guru die nu een activist is. Haven alum Eric Balfour is set for a recurring role on the second season of The CW’s Charmed.

In the new version of Charmed, after the tragic death of their mother, three sisters (played by Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery, Madeleine Mantock) in a college town are stunned to discover they are witches. Soon this powerful threesome must stand together to fight the everyday and supernatural battles that all modern witches must face: from vanquishing powerful demons to toppling the patriarchy.

Balfour will play Julian, a tech guru turned social activist, he is a handsome, brilliant man with an unexpected boldness who forms a bond with one of the sisters.

Based on the original series, Charmed is from CBS Television Studios in association with Propagate Content. Actrice Poppy Drayton is toegevoegd als vast castlid voor het tweede seizoen van ‘Charmed’. Haar personages heks Abigael was gisteren voor het eerste te zien in aflevering 2×03.

The Charmed Ones are adding a fourth witch to their ranks. Poppy Drayton (The Shannara Chronicles) is joining the CW drama’s second season as its newest series regular, TVLine has learned, with tonight’s episode (8/7c) marking her official debut.

Poppy DraytonDrayton’s character, a powerful and mysterious witch named Abigael, is brought into the fold by Macy, who finds her in an “injured and terrified” state after embarking on a solo mission, according to the episode’s official synopsis. In fact, TVLine has an exclusive clip of Abigael’s dramatic introduction, which ends with a nasty little surprise for Macy.

Elsewhere in the episode, “Mel and Harry try to crack the Book of Elders, Macy struggles with the good and bad aspects of her demon side, and Maggie competes with Jordan for a promotion.

In addition to The Shannara Chronicles, Dayton’s small-screen credits include roles on British dramas like Downton Abbey and Midsomer Murders. She also starred opposite The Vampire Diaries‘ Steven R. McQueen in the 2018 Hallmark Channel original movie Home by Spring.

Drayton is Charmed‘s second series-regular addition this year; she joins fellow newcomer Jordan Donica, who plays a boxing instructor (and Maggie’s love interest) named Jordan.
